The organizers of Art Moments Jakarta are proud to announce the first ArtMoments Jakarta Online (AMJO) through a virtual platform. Participated by over 50 exhibitors from Indonesia and International, from June 1 to June 30, Art Moments Jakarta Online can be accessed through www.artmomentsjakarta.com. This is the first Hybrid Art Fair in Indonesia, accompanied by offline exhibitions at leading art galleries in Jakarta.

Art Moments Jakarta is a premium art fair owned by Indonesian art collectors and is managed by a team of experienced art fair organizers based in Jakarta and Singapore. The event is a platform for local and international art galleries to network, educate, exhibit, and engage. “During the pandemic, we were looking for avenues where our patrons and partners could still engage. Virtual platform is the answer to accommodate the gap, to bridge the gallery owners and art enthusiast and actively promote Indonesian artists and their artworks,” said Leo Silitonga, Founder and FairDirector of

Kicking off on May 20, 2021 at Art:1 in Kemayoran, Jakarta, Art Moments JakartaOnline will organize an intimate offline event, featuring permanent collection sselected by professional curators, and an exhibition program focused on selected young artists. Art:1 prioritizes works of art that carry creativity, conceptual maturity, and high artistic value. Art:1 represents Yawara Oky Rahmawati and her work with the theme of stories about children’s drawings and adult human memory. Yawara uses the appropriation method to borrow the work method and visual images of children to be reinterpreted by today’s problems.
Among the leading art galleries participating in Art Moments Jakarta Online is Chan+Hori Contemporary, a Singaporean contemporary art curatorial specialist. Since March 2020, Chan+Hori has evolved into a curatorial, art management and art advisory service covering artists from around Asia. At Art Moments Jakarta Online, Chan+Hori Contemporary represents Jay Ho. The Singaporean artist works with abstract patterns inspired by the splendor of nature as opposed to human mortality. Jay Ho’s artwork proposes an exploration of space, color, and light to communicate a desire to find answers to questions that can be answered through personal exploration within each of his audiences.
Lawangwangi Creative Space under Art Sociates, will feature works by the renowned Indonesian artist, Eddy Susanto. The Bandung-based creative space will display the works of Eddy Susanto, which are rooted in research on various historical elements which then display Javanese cultural identity. Inspired by various Javanese epics, EddySusanto explores historical narratives and the development of identity in his art.
Galeri Zen1, a Bali based contemporary art gallery will show a special presentation of important artworks that have never been shown to public before from a Balinese contemporary Artist who just passed away, I Made Wianta.
Art Moments Jakarta will also be organizing Art Conversations discussing topics related to : Art and Mental Health, Art and Investment and also the recent actively discussed topic : Crypto Art. With the support from Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, BankBCA, Clamour Apps, Art Moments Jakarta Online strive to support the Art Industry and Community in regions particularly in Indonesia.
