Indra Leonardi is a multi-award-winning Indonesian photographer, who graduated from the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography in California. With a career spanning several decades, he has earned a reputation for creating timeless images that blend classical portraiture with a modern touch. His portfolio includes a wide range of subjects, from notable public figures to everyday individuals, all portrayed with the same level of care and artistry.

In 1998, Indra founded his own company, Leonardi Portraiture, after starting his career at his family’s business, King Foto, established by his father, Gunawan Leonardi. Throughout his journey, he has produced numerous distinguished works, including the celebrated Madonna and Child, which earned him the 1997 Gold Medallion Award from the American Society of Photographers (ASP). His dedication to photography has garnered him multiple accolades, such as Fellowship Degrees from both the American Society of Photographers and the British Institute of Professional Photographers.

Indra has authored several acclaimed books, including Indonesian Portraits, Inside Studios, and Vice Versa, each reflecting his deep connection to his craft and his country. Known for his innovative collaborations with visual artists, he combines photography and painting to create unique fine art pieces. His works have been exhibited extensively in Indonesia and around the world.
