Mahendra Pampam

Mahendra Pampam was born in Kediri, East Java, and pursued his art education at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Yogyakarta from 2004 to 2011. He is currently based in Yogyakarta. Since his university years, Mahendra Pampam has been actively involved in art exhibitions, artistic communities, and cultural movements.

His works often explore themes related to psychology, theology, identity, and human relationships. He works across various mediums, including printmaking, painting, sculpture, and installation, with a strong tendency toward surrealistic visual expressions.

Mahendra Pampam is also the initiator of several art communities and movements that encompass exhibitions, book discussions, forums, and workshops. To date, he has held five solo exhibitions.
