Raul Renanda

Raul Renanda is Indonesian based designer, thinker, and artist. Raul is known as multi-talent men who take part actively as a designer for various works of architecture, interior and artworks.

The design of proscenium theater ’Teater Jakarta’ at Taman Ismail Marzuki, Rollingstone Cafe, Kaskus Networks, Emeralda Golf Locker Room is his well-known publicly. Besides of course many projects simple to luxurious residences he had done, and several projects in Singapore when he was working with William Lim Associate and 3P Architects.

As a designer, Raul is ‘design advisor’ weeks to a few large companies in Japan for market penetration Indonesia under Trinity Design Japan.

Raul is also active in other areas:

As a writer, Raul has published two books; the first titled ’99 Untuk Arsitek’ (2009) and ‘Mencuri Kreativitas Designer – Design Thinking’ (2014).

Raul had monthly design column in Media Indonesia Newspaper in 2009 to 2013 about ‘architecture.’

Being a TV Host “Dulux Let’s Colour” for 60 Episodes (2012 to 2013) about architecture and interior which aired on Metro TV.

As a photographer, doing four times the exhibition to the public. Two solo exhibitions at FX Senayan Mall as well as in Roseville BSD and twice the exhibition together with IDL (Leica amateur photography) he is also the winner of the Silver Award by the Prix de la Photographie Paris 2014 years ago, and received Honorable Mention 2015.

Raul Renanda painting in the Abstract Expression exhibited in the Fairground SCBD, Bara Building and Selasar Sunaryo, Galeries Lafayette, Redbase Foundation and D Gallerie.

In the field of music, Raul composes some songs for the band ‘The Architects Play’ and classical composition for string quartet and piano ‘Kenyang Di Warung.’

As product designer, together with Aksan Sjuman, Raul created a concert grand piano SR1928 The Awakening – under the brand Sjuman+Renanda manufactured by world’s leading wood artisan, Saniharto in 2019, in 2020 with the same brand, he created a high end speakers. In late 2020, Raul Renanda designing a yacht under the brand Skayr.
