Wina Luthfiyya Ipnayati

Wina L.I. is a multidisciplinary artist, she occasionally makes sculptures, drawings on paper, printmaking and performance art. Wina L.I. or familiarly called Defiyya was born in Majalengka in 1996, since 2014 she has intended to migrate to Jakarta to pursue her dreams of working in the Indonesian art world. 2015-2019 devoted herself to exploring the arts of acting, performance and theater with the Regu Kerja Didi Petet and Sena Didi Mime communities, which then went hand in hand with that 2017-2021 she studied Fine Arts at the Jakarta Institute of Arts. Departing from her final project which raised a Pesinden figure from Majalengka named Marni and made an Archive Exhibition, which then the results of this exhibition made Marni’s figure remembered again and recognized as one of the influential figures who was then made a totem in the Majalengka Historical Park by the local government, with Marni’s background written by Wina L.I.. Currently Wina L.I. is active in the collective Galeri Saku, Kosarupa, and works as an Administrator at D Gallerie Jakarta, as well as a member of the Jakarta Arts Council Fine Arts Committee for the period 2023-2026.
